The body was designed to handle natural foods and thus one should not burden the body by eating food containing additives such as sodas, as this will slow down the functioning of the body. It is also advisable to include foods such as fruits and vegetables that are rich in fiber. This is important because the fiber is responsible for cleaning the digestive system and prevents people from overeating. Most people are known to skip breakfast maybe due to the nature of their careers, but it is strongly advisable for one not to miss eating quality food in the morning, since the energy will be needed during the day. People tend to overeat at night because of skipping breakfast or lunch. The body does not require much energy during the night thus it is advisable not to eat too much at dinner.

The important concept here is that the quantity of food eaten does not matter, what should be considered is the quality of the food. Meals should be properly balanced to ensure that the body is not robbed of certain types of nutrients and that it does not have too much of one type of nutrient.
