PhenPLUS

PhenPLUS review

PhenPLUS is a nonprescription weight loss supplement that was created to act as a fat burner and appetite suppressant. The official website claims that users will experience weight loss unlike anything they’ve ever undergone. Some other sites selling the product guarantee that it works and claim that users will “Lose 1 Pound Per Day” and will “Feel Great” at the same time.

Those claims are not only quite extreme but are also likely well beyond the rate of weight loss that most doctors would recommend for their patients. It’s important to note that while fast weight loss is appealing, there is a limit to how quickly the body can burn through its stored fat.

A pill that claims a person will lose 1 pound every day that they use it is either lying or is not burning fat from the body. Assuming that this product isn’t backed by a string of lies, it could be that only a small percentage of weight lost while using this product will be body fat. It is quite likely that any additional weight lost is in the form of retained water. This would occur as a result of diuretic ingredients in the formula that cause the body to flush out fluids from the tissues.

This type of weight loss is not generally recommended as it is quite temporary and places the dieter at risk of dehydration. Moreover, the weight will only return when the user regains a healthy hydration level and the cells obtain the require for proper function and health.

The best way to know whether the product claims are completely invalid or whether they simply don’t refer to fat loss is to consider the ingredients that make up the formula. At the time of the writing of this review, the ingredients were not listed on the official website.

That said, a third party website selling the product did state that the product contains: Caffeine Anhydrous, Schisandra, L-Arginine, Beta Alanine, Guarana Seed Extract, Garcinia Cambogia, Uva Ursi, Capsicum, Raspberry Ketone, Green Coffee Bean Extract, Tribulus Extract. It also contains Vitamin B6.

Anyone familiar with the ingredients in this industry would be able to rapidly see that this formula is indeed based on diuretics – such as uva ursi – and stimulants – such as caffeine anhydrous, guarana seed extract and green coffee bean extract.

This product is likely to produce unwanted side effects among many users. This is particularly true among people who have sensitivities to stimulants. These side effects can include jitters, nausea, headache, irritability, anxiety, heart palpitations and others.

It is very important to speak to a doctor before purchasing and using a product such as this one.
